Dozens of parents and guardians brought children to the NNRO’s Back to School Health Fair, held at Kelly Park in mid-August. More than 200 clear backpacks, filled with school supplies, were distributed during the first hour of the event. The Indiana Health Centers (IHC) Mobile Health Clinic offered care to 20 patients, many of whom were overdue for critical vaccinations. The team also completed several sports physicals for kids. Ann Lundy, CEO of IHC and a member of the NNRO board, said these encounters were especially meaningful to the mobile team and reinforced the importance of bringing accessible healthcare directly to the community.
